A two-person studio. One day, one team.

Nordvér Films is David Backlund and Karin Lundin, a filmmaker and a photographer working as a duo from Stockholm. We don’t take on many weddings. The ones we do, we treat as our own.

Karin photographs. Her stills carry the same instinct as the films: soft, considered, never staged. She runs her own photography studio under karinlundin.com.

Philosophy

We don’t direct your day. We film it as it happens.

By being a small, two-person team we move with the day, not around it. No call sheets, no posed re-takes. We trust the people in the room. Photographs and film, captured side by side, edited under one studio. We accept a small number of weddings each season so each film receives the months of editing it asks for. We work as if the film will be watched in twenty years.
